Shell Salym Development B.V, a subsidiary of Shell, has completely withdrawn on its 50% stake in the Salym project, which it jointly developed with Gazprom Neft, a subsidiary of Gazprom.

The transaction follows all required regulatory approvals. Gazprom Neft has acquired Shell’s stake in the venture in Western Siberia, along with other related interests.
