Energean announced that Sayma Cox will be joining its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 1 March 2025. With 27 years of global experience in the energy sector, Sayma brings a wealth of expertise in upstream oil and gas, safety, asset optimization, and energy transition, including carbon capture and storage (CCS).

Sayma has held senior leadership roles at industry giants like bp, ConocoPhillips, Maersk Oil, and Petrofac. Her extensive experience in strategic transformation and operational excellence will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth and innovation. She will also join the Audit & Risk Committee and the Environment, Safety, and Social Responsibility Committee.
