The first contract is to supply a complete package of materials such as control line tubing and clamps, with high-alloyed material to be delivered in the third quarter of this year.

The second contract is for a major package for chemical injection applications for the Umm Lulu and Al Nasr oil fields in the UAE that respectively produce approximately 100,000 and 22,000 b/d of crude.

Delivery for this contract is the fourth quarter of this year.

According to Penn Energy Sandvik Materials Technology is a developer and producer of advanced stainless steels, special alloys, titanium and other high-performance materials for subsea oil and gas production.

These materials are usually produced at their facilities in Canada with accessories procured from various suppliers in the Europe and Asia Pacific region, while the package is assembled and supplied from Sandvik’s Control line Service Center in Houston.
