Sage Middle East, a leading provider of business management software, has won a fresh vote of confidence following the recent implementation of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution Sage 300 by Elaaf Dynamics, a UAE-based oilfield services company.
Elaaf Dynamics, a leading provider of oil field exploration and drilling services, was looking for a single, effective solution to manage its business processes in the areas of finance, procurement, sales and inventory management, said a statement.
The company made the decision to migrate to the Sage 300 ERP following the need for timely and accurate business management software tools, it said.
Salah Ramadan, chief financial officer, Elaaf, said: “Prior to investing in the Sage 300 ERP, Elaaf was managing all the information for each of its business processes on a manual Excel system.
“The Sage ERP 300 gave us a single, integrated platform from which to run our business. We are more than satisfied with the commitment and delivery of the project from idaA ERP Services and look forward to working closely with them on further product implementations in the near future.”
Elaaf’s decision to switch to Sage was reinforced by its easy-to-use setup and installation processes via Sage’s partner idaA ERP Services DWC, which implemented the system through a structured methodological plan, including an initial scoping of the business processes and individual functions, said the statement.
The tailor-made settings allowed end-users to easily adapt to the new system and to conduct post-release test runs before it went live, thus meeting the company’s requirements to streamline operations without the need for extensive customisation, it said.
Murali Arumugam, practice head of idaA ERP Services DWC, said: “Elaaf now has one integrated system across business entities, allowing them to process daily transactions and access reports in order to increase the efficiency of its workflow.”
Following the success it has achieved with the Sage 300 ERP, Elaaf plans to implement additional modules from Sage’s enterprise solutions catalogue in the near future, including the hugely popular Sage CRM as well as the Sage HSE Solutions package.
