Qatari Minister of Energy Saad Al-Kaabi expressed his pleasure for Egypt’s support of the natural gas industry and its hosting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

Al-Kaabi said that during his speech at the GECF which is being held in Egypt in attendance of energy ministers of the member countries.

The Qatari minister elaborated that the current crisis requires the key role of natural gas in finding solutions for securing energy supplies and achieving the goals of energy transition towards a low-carbon economy.

He affirmed the importance of discussions between the investors, producers, and consumers to achieve such goals.
