Poland Imports Gas from Iran

Poland’s biggest oil refining company has purchased a cargo of gas condensates from Iran, according Iran Daily.

Iran’s PKN Orlen has handed over a gas condensates shipment to Mazeikiai oil refinery in Lithuania.

Traders have announced that the 122,000-ton consignment has been transferred to Butinge oil terminal in Lithuania.

In the past few months it was announced an Italian company had also bought a number of bulk oil consignments from Iran.

Due to the favorable progress Iran’s nuclear negotiations in the past few weeks and increased possibility of lifting the sanctions, leading European oil companies including Shell, have voiced interest in resuming cooperation with Iran.
