Petroleum Marine Services Company (PMS) started to execute first well test from HH areas of the General Petroleum Company (GPC), according to the General Trade Union for Petroleum Workers.
An official source from the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) told local media that Tarek El Molla, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, follows up on an ongoing basis and prepares a weekly meeting with Petrojet, Enppi, PMS, GPC, and the leaderships from petroleum authority to speed up production from HH and South East Al-Hamd.
The official source also mentioned that it is expected to complete the entire HH project within 15 days with average 2,000 barrels of oil per day (bbl/d). In addition, he noted that in parallel, the South East Al-Hamd regions project will also be completed within a month, so that the rest of the project will be completed by producing seven wells with average 4,000 bbl/d.
It should be mentioned that El Molla insisted on early production through marine production facilities establishment and a number of lines for the HH Southeastern Al-Hamd regions through temporary production facilities. He also added to implement two lines with 7 km length and 6 inch diameter until the project completion.
