The Petroleum Safety and Environmental Services Company (PetroSafe) has held a general assembly meeting to approve the results of its work for the year 2023 in the presence of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation’s (EGPC) Chairman Alaa El Batal.
During the meeting, PetroSafe Chairman Emad Abdel Razek reviewed the company’s business performance during the year, as it achieved revenues amounting to EGP 670 million, an increase of 30% over the preceding year, achieving a surplus value of EGP 75 million before tax deduction.
Abdel Razek also explained that Petrosafe achieved growth in the volume of projects assigned to the company during the year, amounting to about 13%.
PetroSafe also succeeded in obtaining the accreditation of the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC/IAF) to become a body that grants certificates of conformity to international standard specifications for quality management systems, occupational safety and health, and environmental protection (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), under the name “PETROCERT.”
This comes as a continuation of the company’s role in providing the necessary technical support to petroleum sector companies in the fields of occupational safety and health, environmental protection, marine and river pollution control, and waste treatment.
