Petroleum Arrows company plans to expand its oil recycling activities as the company plans to collect around 55,000 tons of used oil at the beginning of 2020, an official source at the company told Amwal Al Ghad.

The company has successfully collected 46,000 tons of used oil over four years, from eight governorates across Egypt, the source said.

The company signed a cooperation protocol with a number of ports including Abu Qir port, Dekheila port, Damietta port and Alexandria port in order to be the only company receiving their wastes to be recycled and re-used, the source noted.

The company further works in transporting petroleum products as it transports around 8.5 million liters of petroleum products per day, said Ahmed Abdel Moteleb, Head of the company, Egypt Oil & Gas previously reported.

The company transports 3,000 tons per day of butane, recording around 63% of the total transported amounts across Egypt, Abdel Moteleb added during the general assembly chaired by Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, to review the company’s 2018 results.
