Petrojet company has signed a contract with the National Authority For Tunnels to take part in the works of the first phase of Metro Line 4 which will link 6th October city to Cairo in cooperation with companies of Arab Contractors, Hassan Allam Holding, and Concord for Engineering and Contracting, according to a press release .
The signing ceremony was held on the sideline of the Smart Transpiration and Logistics Fair and Forum for the Middle East and Africa in attendance of the Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister, Tarek El Molla, Transportation Minister, Kamel El Wazeer, and International Cooperation Minister, Rania Al Mashaat in addition to the Japanese Ambassador to Egypt.
For his part, El Molla affirmed the readiness of petroleum construction companies to contribute to the state’s national projects. He referred to Petrojet’s participation in Suez Canal projects and other vital projects as evidence of the efficiency and success of the company in varying its activities and its capability to meet the state’s needs in different aspects.
The contract was signed by Petrojet’s Chairman, Waleed Lotfy, Head of the Egyptian National Tunnel Authority, Essam Waly and the Chairmen of the other companies.
The project is funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
