Petrojet completed the manufacture of a 50-ton pressure vessel for the development project at the West Delta gas field, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.
With a length of 20 meters and a diameter of 4 meters, the new pressure vessel will be one of the largest used in BP’s West Delta project.
The company built and tested the pressure vessel at its central workshop in Kattamya.
The pressure vessel will hold compressed air and will be used to reduce pulsation and moisture in the airflow in order to protect operational and measuring devices.
The local construction of the pressure vessel is in line with the industry’s attempt to maximize the local component in all projects and activities.
