The total production of Omani refineries and petroleum companies increased by 2% by the end of August, according to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), Times of Oman reported.
On the other hand, car fuel production declined by 9.4% year-on-year. As data showed that 91-octane gasoline production decreased by 1%, to 9.646 million barrels, while premium 95-octane gasoline production rose by 14%, to about 8.97 million barrels.
Moreover, diesel production decreased by 6%, while jet fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production grew by 10% and 11%, respectively.
