Egypt Oil & Gas learned that North Sinai Petroleum Company (NOSPCO) issued a tender to hire a new rig to execute the company’s plan for the current fiscal year in the Western Desert.

The company will drill a number of new natural gas exploratory wells with investments of $3.8m. Drilling will be at depths of approximately 6.8 thousand cubic feet, scheduled to begin early in the next year, expecting to extract 500 mmscfd.
