The Chairman of Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, stated that the company targets to produce 1.2 million barrels per day (mmbl/d) of oil during 2021 as a part of its plan for the new year, Libya Observer reported.
Sanallah added that NOC, also, plan to develop many projects, increase Sirte firm’s oil production to 120000 barrels per day (bbl/d), and implement maintenance operations at companies of Arabian Gulf Oil, Mellitah Oil and Gas and Zlaf.
Sanallah said debts in the oil sector reached 48 billion Libyan dinars, despite the government’s approval of the budget, which was blocked by “the Central Bank of Libya that is still protracting the distribution of that budget.
