Kuwait will continue its crude oil production, exploration and supply to the domestic market despite suffering from torrential rainfalls, oil sector spokesman Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah said on November 15.

The sector has been working with emergency teams around the clock to ensure that the weather does not disrupt the country’s oil production facilities, Sheikh Talal added.

The oil sector continues supporting other government departments with the support of representatives at the emergency commission of the civil defense for the sake of presenting resources and equipment.

Minister of Oil Bakheet Al-Rashidi visited on November 15 a number of installations run by the Kuwait National Petroleum Company and the contingency center at the Kuwait Oil Company.
