Kuwait Oil Exports to Japan Increase 10.2% in May

Kuwait boosted crude oil exports to Japan by 10.2% in May, which is the first growth in four months, according to Mubasher.

The Gulf country is the third crude oil source for Japan behind Saudi Arabia and the UAE with overall shipments of 6.91m barrels in May. On the other hand, Japan is the third international oil consumer, coming behind the US and China, UPI informed.

Kuwait, along with other members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), led a serious campaign to balance the market and control the international oil glut through production declines.
