EGAS Chairman, Khaled Abdel Badie, affirmed the regularity of the natural gas supply to fertilizer factories, reported al-Masry Al-Youm.

That is, with the exception of three factories,  Egyptian Fertilizers Company, Alexandria, and the Nitrogen Fertilizer factory, adding that they were on their way to receiving their full needs soon.

He explained that EGAS was regularly supplying gas to all the remaining fertilizer factories, such a Delta, Talkha, and MOPCO Al-Masriya 2.

All factories of medium, and low consumption were receiving gas as usual without any reduction in their quota, he confirmed.

As for the two halted petrochemical manufacturers, Methanex and APEC, he said that they will be re-operated with the arrival of the new floating LNG unit.

These remarks were made during a press conference held at the Ministry of Petroleum.
