Firms Seek to Construct Petroleum Equipments in Iran

Iran, which is increasing its efforts to boost production and attract foreign partners, has received expression of interest from several foreign companies to cooperate to construct technical petroleum equipments.

“We have planned to acquire the savvy for constructing ten groups of equipment and items crucially needed in the oil industry,” the Managing-Director of the Manufacturing, Support and Procurement company Kala Naft, Ezzatollah Akbari, said. He added that the foreign companies who will have priority in construction cooperation are those who did not cut the ties with the Islamic republic during the sanctions era, SHANA News Agency reported.

On his side, the General Director of Machine Manufacturing and Equipment Office at Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, Amir Hossein Shiravi, pointed to the existence of proper grounds for trade between Iranian and foreign parties.

Shiravi stressed on the importance of supporting Iranian manufacturers, adding that Iran’s industry owns skillful personnel, The Iran Project reported. “Iran possesses great potentials in metalworking and machine making industries including large and active firms in the field, skilled human resources as well as higher security than other regional states,” he stated.
