The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has signed an agreement that will allow Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) to sell jet fuel in Egypt, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The agreement comes in line with both the Ministry of Petroleum’s strategy to develop and support jet fuel filling activities, and the strong relations the country has with the UAE.

The ministry has said that the agreement will have several positive developments, including attracting aviation clients to Cairo International Airport, growing foreign currency reserves, and boosting foreign direct investment.

ENOC is a leading integrated global oil and gas player, owned by the Government of Dubai, and operating across the energy sector value chain.
