President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting to follow up on the latest developments of petroleum sector projects across the republic, according to the Presidency Spokesman Bassam Rady.
During the meeting, the President emphasized the importance of enhancing the efficiency of service systems and petroleum products as well as expanding investments in the sector in order to capitalize on this important field. This would help in supporting the national economy and securing the needs of the local market.
The most prominent developments in oil projects were reviewed during the meeting, especially the cooperation with international oil companies in the field of exploration and production (E&P). The continuous efforts to provide the petroleum products necessary to advance production and development in the country were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Trade and Industry Nevin Gamea, Presidential Advisor for Financial Affairs Mohamed Amin, and Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority Ahmed Al-Shazly.
