Libya’s el Sharara oilfield has increased its production capacity, reaching around 180,000 barrels per day (b/d), according to a field engineer, Reuters reported.

The 315,000 b/d field had been restarted as the Libyan National Oil Company (NOC) announced on March 4, lifting force majeure at el Sharara oilfield after it was closed in December 2018.
