Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources discussed with some international oil companies (IOCs) their future investments and activities in Egypt, according to a press release.

In a meeting with the vice president (VP) of Noble Energy, the VP reviewed the company’s plans to increase its investments in Egypt as well as its exploration and production (E&P) activities.

The minister also held a meeting with Bechtel’s regional manager to discuss the company’s future plans in Egypt. The regional manager hinted that the company wants to join the Eastern Mediterranean Natural Gas Forum (EMGF)’s advisory committee.

Furthermore, Honeywell vice president met with El Molla to discuss the company’s expansion in Egypt and to develop calibers through the Middle Management Program.
