Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has reviewed preparations related to EGYPS conference, due to be held in Cairo on February 11-13, 2020, a press release said.

The announcement came as El Molla chaired the second EGYPS meeting, with the attendance of heads of international sponsors, leaders, and heads at the petroleum sector as well as dmg events, the Dubai-based organizer of the conference.

El Molla underlined the importance of EGYPS conference and exhibition, as it is aimed at exchanging expertise and keeping abreast of new technological developments on various petroleum domains.

The number of member countries at EGYPS 2020 is expected to increase to 90 countries, compared to 53 in the 2019 edition. Meanwhile, the conference will host 36 technical workshops.

Under the slogan “MENA – Meeting Future Needs of Energy”, El Molla confirmed that the upcoming edition will witness specialized sessions about means to enhance investments and financing as well as digitization of the petroleum sector.
