El Molla Follows up with $2.4 B Suez Complex

Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla has followed up with the progress of the benzene and diesel complex project in Suez, which costs around $2.4 billion, Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The complex’s capacity is of around 3 million tons of diesel and more than a million tons of benzene of high quality that matches international standards.

The project is under the lead of the Red Sea National Company for Refining and Petrochemicals.

This came during the higher committee meeting for refining projects at the Assiut National Oil Processing Company’s (ANOPC) headquarter, in which the minister stressed the importance of finalizing the projects at their time-frame.
