The first edition of the Iraq Oil and Gas Technology Exhibition (OiGatech 2025) kicked off from June 1 to 4, 2025, featuring a distinguished participation by Egypt’s petroleum sector, which has been named the Guest of Honor for this edition.
The event is held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, and overseen by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, with the participation of 66 companies from the oil, gas, and energy sectors worldwide.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chairman of the National Security Committee and Advisor to the Iraqi Prime Minister, Qasim al-Araji, in the presence of senior officials and representatives from the participating companies.
The Egyptian petroleum sector’s pavilion includes major companies such as the Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (PETROJET); the Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (ENPPI); the Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC); Alexandria Petroleum Maintenance Company (Petromaint); and Modern Egyptian Company For Natural Gas. The pavilion highlights the capabilities of Egyptian companies that have earned a strong regional reputation in engineering, project design and execution, construction, maintenance, petroleum and gas network installation, and gas distribution to homes and facilities.
On the first day, the pavilion drew significant interest from top officials and visitors, receiving widespread praise and reflecting the high value and status of Egyptian companies in executing specialized technical and engineering projects across various energy, oil, and gas domains.
OiGatech 2025 is designed to be a pivotal platform for advancing the oil and gas sector. The event focuses on disseminating the latest technologies and best practices, with a strong emphasis on the entire value chain and maximizing asset value.
