Egyptian Petrochemical Company Chairman, Ahmed Mowakea, reviewed the most important business results achieved by the company during fiscal year 2023/24. Mowakea further reviewed the projects that were implemented to increase the production capacities of chlorine; caustic soda; vinyl chloride monomer; and polyvinyl chloride factories.
This came during the general assembly meeting chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, to review the company’s performance in 2023/24.
Mowakea also reviewed the replacement, renewal and expansion projects that were implemented in most of the company’s production units, as well as projects to improve energy efficiency, rationalize energy, and reduce emissions.
Moreover, Mowakea highlighted the company’s commitment to implementing occupational safety and health procedures and protecting the environment.
