Egypt, UAE Discuss Cooperation in Petroleum Trade, Storage

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has met with Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Diwan in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the accompanying delegation.

The meeting witnessed the exchange of visions and ideas about possible cooperation opportunities in the field of trade, storage and circulation of petroleum products, where the two sides will study the model of cooperation in this regard through projects that are economically feasible and beneficial to both parties.

Additionally, the meeting reviewed work to benefit from the oil potential in Fujairah and the major development and modernization witnessed by the facilities and infrastructure of the Egyptian oil and gas sector in the field of transportation, storage and trading of petroleum products.

Al Dhanhani expressed his country’s appreciation for sisterly Egypt and its keenness to cooperate with it and translate the distinguished relations and fraternal ties that are among the basic factors for the success of cooperation into projects beneficial to both parties. This comes especially since Egypt is a large country in the Middle East and Africa region, and it has expertise, investment opportunities and infrastructure in the oil industry, which ensures the success of cooperation between the two sides.
