Sherif Ismail, Minister of Petroleum announced the arrival of a second floating LNG terminal in August of this year, Reuters reported.

The announcement came days after the first terminal Hoegh Gallant arrived with a first shipment of 160,000 cubic meters of LNG.

Ismail clarified that the second terminal is crucial to help the government meet the energy needs of homes and commercial entities.
