Egypt Gas reported a 25% year-on-year (YoY) increase in operating revenues to mount to EGP 4.7 billion for the six months ending June 30, 2026, according to the company’s disclosure to the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX).
The company’s net profit after tax rose to around EGP 234.7 million, marking a 12 % increase from its level in the same period of 2025.
The company’s first-quarter (Q1) results also showed continued growth, with net profit after tax increasing 11.7% YoY to EGP 219.3 million. Operating revenues rose 27.49% YoY to EGP 2.152 billion during the January-March period.
The growth reflects Egypt Gas’ continued expansion of its natural gas distribution and related activities. Established in 1983, the company is a major operator in Egypt’s petroleum sector and has played a key role in developing the country’s natural gas distribution network.
Egypt Gas also provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for onshore and offshore projects, as well as national infrastructure projects. The company operates 34 customer service centers and serves more than 4 million residential, commercial and industrial customers across Egypt.
