Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) Chairman Alaa El Batal has conducted an inspection tour of the petroleum geographical region in Mostorod, which included the Cairo Oil Refining Company (CORC) and Petroleum Pipelines Company (PPC).
During the inspection of the production units at the CORC site, El Batal and his companions listened to a presentation from CORC Chairman Wael Rizk about the mechanisms of working and operating the distillation and treatment devices, the gasoline production complex, the rates of diesel production, and the quantities of feed needed to operate the Egyptian Refining Company (ERC).
El Batal and his companions also inspected the progress of the work on the new storage warehouses project, as well as the work of the cooling towers project, in addition to following up on the implementation of the project to replace and renew the main firefighting network for the geographic region of Mostorod in light of the recommendations of the Geographical Committee of the Mostorod Petroleum Region.
Moreover, El Batal followed up on the operating work of the Petroleum Pipeline Company, which included payments of crude oil and products, as well as the executive position of the 16-inch isolated line (Minya – Assiut), identifying the challenges facing its implementation and developing solutions to accelerate the completion of its implementation.
El Batal highlighted the importance of environmental compatibility in various petroleum projects, adherence to environmental laws and requirements, attention to the worker and his/her efficiency, and providing a safe work environment that is conducive to increased productivity.
