Chairman of Alexandria Petroleum Company Alaa Amin has presented results of the company’s work during the fiscal year (FY) 2023/24, during which the company refined the received quantities of crude oil, which amounted to about 3.8 million tons, contributing to providing petroleum products worth about EGP 146 billion.

This came during the general assembly meeting chaired by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, to review the company’s work in FY 2023/24.

Amin pointed out the company’s role in implementing the Ministry’s vision of continuous support for integration with companies, as it supplied companies including AMOC, ANRP, and ELAB with diesel, naphtha, asphalt, and wax distillates.

These companies in turn transform them into vital products that are directed to the local market and export.

Amin also reviewed the projects the company is carrying out for development, replacement and renewal, improving energy efficiency, utilizing flare gases and reducing their emissions, as well as the projects to develop the petroleum geographic area in Alexandria and the project to develop and rehabilitate the petroleum basin in the port of Alexandria.
