The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, encouraged the production expansion projects and infrastructure development of Amerya and Alexandria refineries following a time schedule to achieve the goals of increasing production and providing high quality petroleum products.

BGS Energy Services completed its activities for the “U-3000 Project” at the Alexandria Petroleum Company (APC) refinery, now operating at its optimal production rate of around 100,000 barrels per day (bbl/d); saving $85 million annually.

Alexandria Petroleum Company (APC) raised the refining of crude oil 10% more in fiscal year FY 2018/19 than the previous year, reaching 4,8 million tons. This increase contributed to saving oil products valued at EGP 55 billion that met the needs of the domestic market. A press release by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources suggested.

Petroleum Arrows aims to increase the distribution rate of the industrial gases, ammonia and high-grade propane, and transporting the petroleum products with 5% by the end of Q4 in 2019.

The company is aiming to produce 1.3 million tons of mazut, 1.3 million tons of naphtha, 1.2 million tons of diesel, 485,000 of jet fuel, 99,100 tons of butane, 37,000 metric tons ofs solvents, and 6,600 tons of neutral lubricant prepared from 10,000 tons of used lubricants.
