The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is launching ‘Women in Green Energy: enhancing employment and entrepreneurship opportunities’ event on March 4, in Cairo.
EBRD announced the event, which comes in cooperation with the Green Climate Fund (GCF), to boost gender equality in the Egyptian renewable energy sector.
The event will have opening speeches made by Sabah Mashaly, Chairwoman of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), and Nandita Parshad, Managing Director of the Sustainable Infrastructure Group at EBRD.
The event will have several panels for industry leaders discussing economic opportunities and challenges facing women in the renewable energy sector.
