The Sixth International conference "People and Banks 2010" will be held in Egypt in April, Under the supervision of Dr. Farouk El Okda, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt.

This year’s topic will be "The role of banks to help in investments after a year and half from the economic crisis."

The conference will also discuss the major economic and financial sectors targeted by the banks to help boost the investment climate in Egypt in the coming stage, and focus on the divisions that stimulate growth, especially the petroleum sector.

The oil and gas sector in Egypt is knows for its high revenues, and lately there is a tendency to invest more in projects as transporting natural gas, supplying the most of households with it, the search for oil, and oil discoveries.
