Chevron Al Khalij said its premium range of motor oils under the Caltex Havoline brand is now being manufactured in the UAE.
The plant utilises global formulations to ensure continued consistency and reliability in the quality and availability of products across the GCC countries and the Middle East, said a statement.
The company has also refreshed its passenger car motor oils product line with a complete new label design that provides a premium and differentiated look and feel, as well as introduced one additional product to its range, it said.
As part of the brand refresh, all synthetic products have been rebranded with ProDS, emphasising the professional-level deposit shield protection that is provided.
Adriaan J de Kok, area business manager, Gulf and Middle East, said: “Given the proven track record of Havoline with Deposit Shield® Technology in maintaining engine performance, preserving engine life and maximising fuel economy, we felt a need to emphasize the unique propositions of our premium products.
“We believe that there is scope for increased sales of the synthetic range in comparison to conventional products in the GCC market.”
Rashid Al Ameeri, general manager, EPPCO Lubricants, said: “We are committed to offering high quality products and services to our customers that ensure their investments in their vehicles are protected. Millions have trusted Caltex Havoline motor oils for more than 100 years. This is a product with a proud heritage like our joint venture with Chevron in the UAE.”
The advanced additives in Caltex Havoline with Deposit Shield Technology work together to protect the engine, by forming a protective coating that effectively shields engines from deposits, corrosive agents, metal-to-metal contact, and the extreme temperatures of combustion. This layer of protection ensures smooth running of the engine for top performance, said the statement.
The new labels design focuses on highlighting the benefits of protection of fully synthetic range of Havoline. The brand’s promise of ‘Protect What Matters’ is reinforced by the larger shield icon on the label, and the new fully synthetic range underscores the professional level of protection that the brand offers through its Deposit Shield Technology, it said.
These latest additions – Havoline ProDS Fully Synthetic ECO 5 SAE 5W-30, Havoline ProDS Fully Synthetic LE SAE 5W-40 and Havoline Synthetic Blend SAE 10W-40, will be available in selected outlets across the Middle East region, it added.
