The Chairman and Managing Director of Butagasco, Amr Metwally, confirmed that the company’s factory in Sohag is distributing 265,000 butane cylinders per day across some governorates in Upper Egypt including Sohag, Qena and Luxor, according to Al-Ahram.

This came during his inspection tour in Sohag and Qena to make sure of the work progress there and check the butane stock warehouses.

Metwally started his tour by inspecting Qena’s warehouse which is the biggest one in the governorate, noting that it distributes 450,000 butane cylinders per month in Qena.

Additionally, he visited the filing factory in Sohag and confirmed that it is filling around 56,000 household butane cylinders, in addition to 3,000 commercial cylinders daily.
