Bapco Passes Management Audit, Meets International Standards

It was conducted on Bapco’s processes and included interviews with its senior management.

BSI lead auditor Colin Rushmere highlighted the best practices applied in Bapco’s different processes and praised its senior management and staff for their commitment.

Bapco chief executive Dr Peter Bartlett and deputy chief executive for refining and marketing Ebrahim Talib thanked the auditors and Bapco team for their hard work.

Dr Bartlett and Mr Talib reiterated how Bapco recognises the significance of such audits on the path to continual improvement.

Consequently, Bapco’s Quality Management System was recommended for continued status of the BSI recertification for ISO 9001:2008.

Mr Talib expressed pride in Bapco’s achievement, hailing its continued commitment to apply the latest standards applicable in leading industrial establishments worldwide.

‘We are committed to fully comply with the latest global standards in the industry to enhance performance and improve productivity as part of our ongoing improvement polices and strategies in Bapco,’ said Mr Talib.
