Bahrain to Receive First Super-Chilled Fuel Imports

Bahrain is getting ready  to receive its first imports of the super-chilled fuel in 2019 as the first liquefied natural gas (LNG) floating storage unit (FSU) has arrived in the Gulf and anchored in Fujairah on January 13, according to data from Refinitiv, Reuters reported.

 The FSU “Bahrain Spirit” has a storage capacity of around 173,000 cubic meters.

The FSU is jointly owned by the National Oil and Gas Authority of Bahrain, Teekay LNG Partners, Samsung Construction and Trading and the Gulf Investment Corporation.
