Bahrain to Host 3rd Pipeline Conference for Middle East

Bahrain’s Energy Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza will patronize the third international ‘Pipeline Operations and Management – Middle East’ conference and exhibition, reported Trade Arabia.

The future of oil pipeline projects in the region will be the focus of a conference and exhibition held at Gulf Hotel’s Gulf Convention Centre in Bahrain from April 11 to 14.

According to Gulf Base the event is being organised by Clarion Technical Conferences, Tiratsoo Technical and Global Webb Energy Consultants in co-operation with the National Oil and Gas Authority, and supported by Saudi Aramco as platinum sponsor and Bapco, Rosen Middle East and Clock Spring as silver sponsors.

More than 1,000 participants from 33 countries are expected to take part in the event, including oil industry professionals, engineers and technicians from various local, regional and international companies specializing in safe operations and integrated pipeline management.

Dr Mirza hailed the organizers for holding the conference and exhibition in Bahrain, and said delegates gathered at such events discussed important oil industry issues at technical and strategic levels, in order to provide quality, with special focus on innovations, current challenges and feasibility studies.

The conference will also deal with solutions in areas such as leakage control and safe operations, oil and gas economics, and the role of environment protection procedures for pipelines and energy conservation and transfer through pipeline systems.
