Algeria’s Energy Revenues up 17% this Year

Algeria’s energy revenues this year continue to outpace last year’s revenues and are up 17% through October, according to figures reported by Reuters.

The north-African nation exported $27.18 billion worth of oil and gas sales during the first 10 months of the year, an increase of just over $4 billion from the $23.04 billion it took in during the same period last year, according to the news agency.

During the first nine months of the year, Algeria exported $24.41 billion worth of oil and gas products, Zawya previously reported. The Finance Minister, Abderrahmane Raouia, predicted last month that energy exports would reach $31 billion this year.
