Al-Sisi Praises EMGF During Tripartite Summit with Cyprus, Greece

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi praised the East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF) as it set up a defined framework for joint projects in the natural gas field, Al-Ahram reported.

This came during the tripartite press conference with the Cypriot President, Nicos Anastasiades, as well as the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Al-Sisi pointed out that the tripartite meeting delved into constructive talks concerning several issues in the region, affirming that it is essential to confront illegal policies. The president expressed Egypt’s support to help Nicosia solve the Cyprus crisis and unify the island.
