African Petroleum Corp. has released data from an assessment of its prospective oil resources done by ERC Equipoise Ltd.
The resources audit covered African Petroleum’s 90% owned and operated CI-509 and CI-513 licenses offshore Côte d’Ivoire and its 100% blocks LG-08 and LB-09 offshore Liberia. It also includes eight new prospects plus data gathered from third-party drilling in 2014.
The report says the company had a 118% increase in net risked prospective oil resource in Côte d’Ivoire and a 33% increase offshore Liberia.
African Petroleum has contracted ERC Equipoise to conduct additional studies in Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Senegal.
