Egypt Aims for New Solar Projects

Egypt's Minister of Industry and Trade, Tarek Kabil, announced that the ministry will establish a new solar energy project for industrial purposes within the next five years, in cooperation with the United Nations' Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and New and Renewable Energy Authority. -

Gamesa delivers 200 MW of wind turbines to Egypt

Gamesa will deliver 100 of its G80-2.0 MW wind turbines to the New & Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) for a total of 200 MW of wind projects in the Gulf of El-Zayt on Egypt's Red Sea coast.
