Iraqi government approves export of Kurdistan Crude Oil

The Iraqi government said on Sunday it has approved Kurdish plans to export crude oil from fields in the northern Kurdish region through Iraq's national pipeline.

GE Oil & Gas awarded StatoilHydro subsea operations services contract OPERATIONS SERVICES CONTRACT

GE Oil & Gas announces that it has been awarded a five-year contract to deliver Subsea Operations Services (SOS) to StatoilHydro, the Norwegian based oil and gas company. The contract has an estimated value of between US$25- $30 million per year and will be managed by GE Oil & Gas in Dusavik, Stavanger, Norway.

Addax to export Oil from Taq Taq Field in Iraq

Addax Petroleum Corporation has received formal notification from the Kurdistan Regional Government (“KRG”) of its decision to commence the export of crude oil. The notification requests that Addax Petroleum and Genel Energy International Ltd ("Genel Energy") prepare to truck oil from the Taq Taq field to the Khurmala export station on or soon after June 1, 2009.
