The discovery was made during drilling of well 4-GLF-31-ESS, known as Tambuata. The well is located 74 km off the Espírito Santo coast, and 7 km from FPSO Cidade de Vitoria, in the eastern side of Golfinho Field, at a water depth of 1,520 meters.
