Gazprom delegation Journeys to Libya to strengthen ties

Headed by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, a Gazprom delegation visited the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. Within the visit the delegation met with Shokri Mohamed Ghanem, Chairman of the Management Committee of the Libyan National Oil Corporation.

Interpipe launch new anti-corrosive coating line for oil and gas pipes

Leading steel pipe and railway wheels producer Interpipe has announced the opening of a new production line at Interpipe NMPP mill. The new line gives Interpipe the capacity to produce pipes with an external anti-corrosive 3-layer coating for both seamless and welded pipes up to 530 mm for oil and gas transportation. Total investment in the project has reached USD $8.5 million.

Successful Appraisal Well Results For Kosmos Energy, Offshore Ghana

Kosmos Energy has conducted a second drillstem test of the Mahogany-2 appraisal well in the Jubilee Field offshore the Republic of Ghana. The well tested at a flow rate of 4,448 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) of 39-degree API gravity crude and approximately 5.1 million cubic feet per day of associated natural gas on a 36/64-inch choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 1,936 pounds per square inch during a second drillstem test.
