Ganope launches International Bid Round for 10 Exploration Blocks
Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope) invites Oil and Gas Companies for 2014 International Bid Round, to explore/exploit for Oil and Gas. The Bid Round includes Ten (10) Exploration blocks in the South Gulf of Suez, West Nile and East Nile, as shown in the map and according to the Production Sharing Model Agreement applied in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Ministry of Petroleum: Payment of $2.1 Billion to Foreign Partners

EGAS Launches LNG Tenders for 48 Cargoes
Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) has tendered to buy at least 48 cargoes of LNG for delivery in 2015/16, reported Reuters, citing three traders. A senior EGAS official also told Reuters that the result of the tender was due by the end of December and that seven companies had bid, adding that the contract would be split among multiple companies.
