Fahmy visits the Suez Company for vocational safety equipment

Eng. Sameh Fahmy, Minister of Petroleum, checked the work progress at the Suez Company for Vocational Safety Equipment; the first Egyptian company for manufacturing personal protection equipment of clothes, shoes, and other safety equipment to cover the needs of the petroleum sector.

Fahmy: Al Hamra Terminal to become a “World Export Hub”

Al Hamra Specialized Oil Terminal, one of the most significant and strategic oil sites for crude oil shipment and export, to be developed to accommodate nearly 225 thousand barrels per day (bpd) from the Western Desert instead of 185 thousands bpd, said Eng. Sameh Fahmy, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum.

Saipem awarded four drilling contracts in Egypt and Nigeria

Saipem has been awarded four new drilling contracts worth a total of US $510 million. The contracts are for the charter of Saipem's Scarabeo 4 and Scarabeo 3 offshore drilling rigs in Egypt and Nigeria respectively, along with the charter of six onshore rigs in Saudi Arabia.
