Copetrole Gains EGP 50 Billion in FY 2018/19

The Co-operation petroleum Company (Copetrole) gained revenues reaching EGP 50 billion and sold large amounts, reaching 6,7 million tons of gasoline and diesel out of total sales that reached 7,5 million tons during the fiscal year (FY) 2018/19, a press release carried by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources pointed out.

GPC Records Highest Production Rate in FY 2018/19

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla have hailed the achievements that the General Petroleum Company (GPC) accomplished during the fiscal year (FY) 2018/19, especially achieving 4 oil discoveries with a production rate of 2800 crude oil b/d and 1.1 mcf/d of natural gas, which is the production highest rate since its foundation, a press release by the ministry of petroleum concluded.

Baltim’s New Well to be Linked to National Grid

Ministry of Petroleum connected the first well at Southern-Western Baltim gas field, located 12km away from the Nooros field in the Nile Delta to the national grid. The new well is expected to produce 100mcf/d of gas after being linked to the onshore Abu Madi plant via a pipeline stretching to 44 km long, A press release said. 

ASORC and El Molla to Review Production Rates

Assiut Oil Refining Company (ASORC) has reviewed its achievements during the fiscal year (FY) 2018/19, which include meeting around 60-65% needs of Upper Egypt provinces in relation to oil products, a press release by the ministry of petroleum said.

Egypt’s Emissions and Consumption of Oil and Gas Decrease
