During the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company's (EGAS) general assembly meeting, Chairman Yassin Mohamed highlighted the company's key achievements and future targets for fiscal year (FY) 2024/25 and FY 2025/26. The meeting was attended by Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi.

During the third day of Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition (EGYPES 2025) Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources signed a framework agreement with the UK-based Shard Capital to establish a petrochemical complex in New Alamein City.
As part of Egypt Energy Show Conference and Exhibition (EGYPES 2025), the Minister of Finance, Ahmed Kouchouk stressed that the government is working on increasing the investments in the Egyptian energy sector, within the framework of an integrated and consistent vision to support the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy.
